I finally have an idea of what Mark, David, and Clay experienced once I kissed them good-bye in the big room, and they started their training at the MTC!
Brad and I got our missionary name tags, went through the little orientation sessions, found our room, dropped off our luggage with all the possessions we will need for the next 18 months, and got to know some of the other couples who are here in the MTC. Some are going to the Philippines, Washington DC, Honolulu, Paris, Marshall Islands, New York, Florida, Mississippi, Mesa, Texas...
One couple is going to work on farm equipment in Arizona - if that involves riding Bobcat tractors, Brad thinks he wants to be re-assigned!
We are glad to be here, sad to leave our loved ones, but we know that the time will pass before we know it. Take care...we love you all!

We went to Baskin Robbons today for 31 cent scoops and all of Tee's kids had pink bubble gum for Karen. No need to try and sneak out and get some.
